The Ministry of Finance has just issued the new circular number 190/2012/TT-BTC to modify and supplement to the circular number 66/2009/TT-BTC to regulates the fees for the passport and visa issuance.
Under the new circular issued by the Ministry of Finance, the fee for a single entry visa will rise from the current $25 to $45.
Multiple entry visas will be classified into one-month, six-month and over-six-month validity, with fees of $65, $95 and $135, respectively.
Fees for one year, two-year and three-year residence cards will be charged for $80, $100 and $120 respectively.
This circular will be valid from 1 January 2013. Accordingly, the traveler who apply for Vietnam visa at a Vietnam Embassy or visa on arrival will have to pay the higher stamping fees from the current of $25 for single entry visa and $50 for multiple entry visa.
- 1 month single entry visa: $45
- 1 month multiple entry visa: $65
- 3 months/ 6 month multiple entry visa: $95
- Over 6 months multiple entry visa: $135
