Since 1 January 2013, the Ministry of Finance has just issued the new circular number 190/2012/TT-BTC to modify and supplement to the circular number 66/2009/TT-BTC to regulates the fees for the passport and visa issuance. Under the new circular, the stamping fee for a various of visa will be rising:
- For 1-3 month single entry visa: 45 USD/person
- For less than 1 month (29 days) multiple entry visa: 65 USD/person
- For 1-6 month multiple entry visa: 95 USD/visa
- For over 6 month multiple entry visa: 135 USD/ visa
There is no special notice for 1 or 3 month single entry visa (stamping fee in this case is 45 USD/person). However, before applying for 1 month multiple entry visa, applicants should have some adjustments to save the stamping fee. What you need to do now is just to shorten your staying time to 29 days (instead of 30 days) by submit your proposed entry date 1 day earlier than your actual entry date.
For example, if your actual entry date is 15 February 2013 then you are requested to submit a visa application with the proposed entry date is 14 February 2013.
It should be noticed that the proposed entry date may not the actual entry date. But actual entry date must be later than proposed entry date issued on the visa approval letter, not earlier.
In the mentioned above example, the visa approval letter will be issued with its validity from 14 February 2013 to 14 March 2013 but your actually entry is 15 February 2013. At the arrival airport, the Immigration officer will calculate the length of staying is just 29 days only (from 15 February to 14 March 2013). Processing fee 65 USD/person will be applied instead of 95 USD/visa and you will save 30 USD/person for stamping fee.

I contacted them regarding my 3 months tourist visa and I immediately get the answer from the agent, Mr Alex. What I found amazing was the quickness which Alex responded to my inquiries. All of this for the lowest price, too. I would highly recommend Vietnam visa booking's service...
