Hello,
I have booked my trip to Vietnam for March 2012. The flight stops in South Korea for a 1.5 hours on the way to Vietnam and the return ticket will have an 8 hour stop. Do I need a visa for South Korea? I already got my approval letter and do you know if I can get a
visa-on-arrival for Korea? I'm a
US citizen by the way.
Hi Jill,
No you do not, even if you were to stay in S. Korea for 30 days or less, US citizens do not require a visa, and definitely not a transit visa, here's the S. Korean Embassy website: http://www.koreaembassyusa.org

I contacted them regarding my 3 months tourist visa and I immediately get the answer from the agent, Mr Alex. What I found amazing was the quickness which Alex responded to my inquiries. All of this for the lowest price, too. I would highly recommend Vietnam visa booking's service...
