Vietnam visa is NOT required for citizens of South Korea (Republic of Korea) to stay in Vietnam for less than 15 days. If South Korean citizens who intend to stay in Vietnam for longer than 15 days, they need to apply for Vietnam visa before entering the countries or having the visa extended later.

The requirements for South Korean citizens applying Vietnam visa are simple as follows:
- A valid passport (The validity should be 6 month at least)
- An issued Vietnam visa approval letter/ Vietnam visa code by Vietnam Immigration Department. Once you got these two things, you can have your Vietnam visa stamped at Vietnam airport or Vietnam Embassy easily.

Guidance on how South Korea passport holders apply for Vietnam visa:
- Submit your Vietnam visa application or download Vietnam visa application form
- Make payment for Vietnam visa approval fees via Paypal, Western Union or bank wiring transfer
- Receive our confirmation on the exact time of receiving your Vietnam visa approval letter/ visa code
- Get your approval letter/ visa code via email, printed out once you receive it
Now remember to put your approval letter in the same place with applicant's passport and show them when you get on the plane or stamp at arrival airport in Vietnam.
