Dear Sir/Madam
I will be traveling over the land border from Laos to Vietnam in December this year, I am quite confused as to the method of applying for a visa for Vietnam. If
I apply online what is the process
visa on arrival in a
Vietnam land border? I have heard that obtaining one in Bangkok is possible but the price of the
UK embassy seems very expensive to those obtained abroad. I will be staying around 2 weeks in Vietnam before crossing, again via land border into Cambodia. Any help or advice would be much appreciated
Kind regards
Katie Bociek
Dear Katie Bociek,
Yes, you are right, UK is the most expensive place to get your visa to Vietnam, we suggest you 2 Asian cities where you can get your visa more affordably:
1 - If you have time in Bangkok, you can get your visa there, fee will be around 60 USD for single one month visa - 50 USD saving in compared to getting a visa in London.
Details can be found here: http://www.vietnamvisabooking.com/vietnam-visa-bangkok-thailand.html
2 - Getting your visa in Cambodia: it will even cost you a half less than in Bangkok if you apply for your visa in Cambodia, it is just about 30 USD:

We hope you soon have a smart choice. However, if you ever fly to Vietnam, visa on arrival is another option that also saves you time and money on visa application.
Good luck!

I contacted them regarding my 3 months tourist visa and I immediately get the answer from the agent, Mr Alex. What I found amazing was the quickness which Alex responded to my inquiries. All of this for the lowest price, too. I would highly recommend Vietnam visa booking's service...
