Vietnam visa, 5 days free stay
Five-day, visa-free stay not been applied in Vietnam
We have received an email from Francesco (an Italian visitor), asked for the
information about the five-day, visa-free stay which Vietnamese
Government introduced in May 2002. This regulation seemed to be very attractive
to frequent travellers.
To answer this question, we have asked some travel agencies and visa processors
in Vietnam, unfortunately, no one said it used. We intend to interview an
immigration official to clarify this issue. Please check back later for the
result.
Update: This has never been
used, so you have to apply for a visa to Vietnam for even 1 day stay.
