Vietnam visa for Spain passports

From July , 2015 all the Spanish citizens can travel Vietnam with free visa exemption for less than 15 days. However, if you have just entered Vietnam with visa free recent 30 days or you intend to stay in the country more than 15 days then visa is required.

Now Spanish nationals may have 2 options to apply for Vietnam visa: (i) visit the Vietnam Embassy in Spain or (ii) apply for a visa on arrival online. Why should I apply online instead of going to the embassy?

Each visa application option offers you some advantage. Visa on arrival (VOA) is especially beneficial for those who live far away from the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulates and do not wish to send their passports away by mail. The other advantages of VOA include faster processing, cost saving and more flexible payment methods.
